The germination table for seeds, also known as “Copenhagen Table” or “Jakobson Table", provides a controlled environment for comparative seed testing.
Functioning
The environmental control is obtained by supplying the seeds with constant temperature and a controlled and homogeneous humidity level so that all samples receive the same treatment. Inside there is a temperature control system, consisting of a heat exchanger and a circulation pump. The water level and its temperature are automatically regulated by an electronic device. The tub comes with drain cock and overflow tube.
Structure
The test bench of the germination table for seeds is made up of a perforated shelf in Aisi 304 stainless steel placed on a temperature-controlled water tank. In correspondence of the holes, the special absorbent paper profiles with transparent domes (not supplied) can be positioned. This allows comparative germination tests. The entire construction is made of Aisi 304 stainless steel.
