Insights
The FDM Xenon Test Chamber is an advanced solution for faithfully simulating natural sunlight, providing a controlled environment for photostability, accelerated aging, and material degradation testing. At the heart of the chamber is a long-life air-cooled xenon lamp, ensuring uniform irradiance and stable results. This makes the chamber particularly suitable for testing paints, plastics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and materials intended for outdoor use.
The integrated control system allows precise setting of all test parameters, including temperature, humidity, and irradiance, with automatic adjustment via dedicated sensors. The color touch control panel enables intuitive management, with real-time display of test progress, programming of complex cycles, and data storage directly in the internal memory or via USB, RS232, or Ethernet interfaces.
Among the available options, it is possible to integrate a spray system to simulate rain or condensation conditions, and a water-cooled sample holder for particularly sensitive tests. The internal ventilation is automatically regulated to maintain climatic uniformity, while the ultrasonic humidification system ensures precise control of relative humidity.
The chamber is designed to ensure high safety standards, with a double overtemperature protection system and CFC-free insulation. The structure is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and hygiene.
Available in various volumes, from 130 to 1830 liters, and configurable according to specific testing requirements, the Xenon Test Chamber is the ideal choice for research laboratories, quality control, and R&D departments needing accurate and repeatable environmental simulations.
